A HELPFUL GUIDE TO RECYCLING CLARA’S PACKAGING
When you think about it, you’ve been recycling since the 90s. It’s as simple as dragging and dropping.
But what should you drop in the recycling bin and what should you drag elsewhere?
Our packing peanuts are made from Australian corn and potato starch. Dampen them and throw them on the compost or wash them straight down the drain.
Our glass jars are recyclable. Place them in the glass recycling bin, although we strongly recommend saving yours for future refills.
Our tea pouches are 85% bio-based (produced with renewable resources) and are made of certified home compostable materials. So throw them on the compost with the peanuts.
Our cardboard mailer boxes are made with recycled materials and soy-based ink, and are able to be recycled again. In the recycling bin they go.
Our mailer bags and shipping labels are made from bio-based materials and are certified home compostable, so they’ll break down into water, carbon dioxide, and organic matter in your compost bin. Like food for Mother Nature.
Our product labels are made from FSC-certified recycled paper. (The FSC is the Forest Stewardship Council. They're the ones working to save our trees.)
